Fryerstown Antique Fair.

Fryerstown Antique Fair first started in 1975 and is held once a year. We are surprised this is the first time we have heard of it! Only an hour and a half from Melbourne with over 180 stall holders selling their treasures. This is my idea of heaven.
(except for the dust and the fact I had two small kids with me!)

Love a bread bin! And what a bargain.
Camp stools. Handy for resting our weary bones at the markets.
Two wooden ladders have given us the inspiration we needed for our display at 'Life in Style' our first trade event in Feb.

These ceramic pipes are a bit of a mystery. Apparently from the 1900s. Thinking they could be transformed into necklaces...
These metal stencils were exactly what we were looking for!
Stay tuned to see what we do with these.
No Bingo! Regret not buying this gorgeous piece.
My 5 year old boy would not budge until we bought this container of matchbox cars for $20. Most of them from 2000s, hardly antiques except for...
...this 1970s 'side kick car' very cool!

So if you are looking for old suitcases, trunks, old tools, glassware, ceramics, hangers, kitchenwares, fabrics and things alike, Fryerstown in Victoria, is definitely the place to go.
It does get a little overwhelming, you may need to pull up some dusty ground, sit back and enjoy a sausage in bread before continuing!
